EXAAAAAAM time!
I WON't be answering comments, thanking for favs or viewing deviations... I'll do all that when exam time is over... Probably after the 8th February. Wish me luck...
Sorry then, be patient, i'll catch up afterwards.
General Info
I intend to buy a graphic tablet, i'd appreciate it if you'd recommend me, like... don't buy the **** 'cause it's shit or the ***** is good and cheap... Stuff like that. Zanks.
YaaaaaY! Someone finally answered!! Thanks soooo much watiwat!
Yes, it's such a pain in the ass cg with a mouse, i did some trials, they came out pretty good but only in the animation kind of style, i can't really improve without a tablet...
So wacom tablets seem the best? Ok! I agree with that, why did you decide to buy an intuos 3 and not a bamboo one?
Thanks again for the tipping!
it's hard to shade properly with a mouse, and to do smooth lineart..
a good thing about wacom is that it comes bundled with software like Photoshop Elements 4.0 and Corel Painter Essentials 4.0..
Wacom tablets are the most widely used in professional designing and animating and stuff, so they've got a good reputation
I chose the intuos3 because my dad was willing to pay $300, and I had $200 in savings, and i really wanted a tablet, so i splurged xD
Also, it has better specifications. The Bamboo Fun is more for people who just do it for fun, but I'm pretty serious about my art now, and I'm hoping to practice alot, and I felt that the better specifications would be better for me in the long run. The intuos3 has 1024 levels of pressure, tilt sensitivity, programmable touch strips and hotkeys on the tablet, so that the most used buttons can be easily accessible.
Check out the wacom site, and look around the web for the best prices. If you're not willing to spend that much money, there should be some Graphire4's on ebay, and there's also the Graphire bluetooth on the wacom site. The graphire's like the Bamboo, but the bamboo's cheaper
I suggest if going with the bamboo, go with the bamboo fun as it has the hotkeys, and looks alot better than the original bamboo.
For more information, there's a sticky in the hardware forum here on dA, i'd link you, but my net's really slow at the moment.
My tablet's going to arrive sometime this week I'll update you on how the size feels and such once it arrives
Thanks soooo much again for all the info!!
Yeah! I'd love to hear from you all about the wonders of your tablet
I'm not going to dedicate myself professionally to art, but i want a good tablet, that i'll use for the next.... 10 years?
You are nice, i'm friend-adding you!

IT'S AMAZING!
i think i might've been able to get a smaller size, but it's pretty good so far
plus you get software bundled with the tablet if you buy a wacom, which is an incentive in itself!
i certainly don't regret my choice
